Improve the source
Record close to the lecturer when possible. Large rooms, audience questions far from the microphone, and projected video audio can produce uneven results. If a session exceeds the current limit, divide it at a topic break and label the files in order.
Use timestamps in your notes so claims can be checked in context. Export TXT for study and archiving; use SRT when the lecture video needs timed captions.
