The current VideoTranscriptGen interface offers explicit language selection for English, Spanish, French, German, and Japanese. Choose the language that dominates the recording before starting transcription.
Language switching, borrowed terminology, names from another language, and strong regional variation can require additional review. If a recording contains long sections in different languages, splitting it by language and processing each section with the matching selection may produce a cleaner working draft.
Check names, honorifics, punctuation conventions, numbers, and words that sound similar across languages. Automated transcription creates source-language text; it does not provide a reviewed translation. Translation is a separate editorial task and should be checked by someone competent in both languages when accuracy matters.
The available language list may change as provider and product support evolves. The interface is the current source of truth. Return to the video transcript generator or read transcription accuracy.
