MOV files are common exports from Apple devices and video-editing software. Upload a supported MOV to the video transcript generator and VideoTranscriptGen will process its audio track into timestamped text. You can review the result in the browser and export it as TXT or SRT.
Use the final edited recording when you need subtitles, because trimming the video afterward changes the relationship between the transcript and its timestamps. For notes or article drafts, the original recording is fine as long as the spoken content is complete.
MOV is a container and may hold different video and audio codecs. Confirm that the file plays locally and fits the current 30-minute and 95 MB limits. If necessary, export a standard MP4 with H.264 video and AAC audio, then try again. Do not repeatedly compress clear source audio unless file size requires it.
Review names, numbers, and overlapping speakers before publishing. See supported formats for current limits or video to SRT for subtitle delivery.
